Summary / Abstract :

Sarit after a delayed departure left ono 17th March for the seaside resort of Bang Sen . He looks thin and weak but his convalescence appears to be progressing satisfacterily. New cabinet has now shaken down and seems to to working well position of Prime Minister office and Vichit's role as execute secretary is still not clarified but present indications are that his power will be much less than he thought. Real authority remains with cabinet, although this could change when Sarit is back at work.
