In a press interview which has been given wide coverage locally Boon Charoenchai,acting minister for foreign affairs, invited the Cambodian government to send a fact finding committee to Thailand to check on the alleged presence of rebel leaders Son Ngoc Thanh and Sam Sary (See our telegram No. 412) . He said that if such a committee could produce evidence that there was a Cambodian rebel organisation in Thailand directing anti-government operations in Cambodian, Thailand would take appropriate steps to suppress such activities.
