Mitra mentioned that Sihanouk had had a two-hour conversation with Nehru on his way through Delhi. In the course of this talk, Nehru commended Cambodia's policy of neutrality, but hinted pretty plainly that he thought Sihanouk should now devote more attention to economic and social development including to two year plan.
