Summary / Abstract :

The Vietnamese blockade, and to a less extent the tension with Thailand, continue to dominate Cambodia's Foreign relations. The Cambodians have made no new move towards a settlement with South Vietnam, on the country Sihanouk told a press conference on April 1, that continued pressure from her neighbors was likely to push Cambodia further to the left "Towards Russia and China".
