Summary / Abstract :
|
Millet (M.F.A.) told us yesterday that the French and Americans were now discussing minor modifications of the memorandum of agreement but all was going well. The basis of the agreement was that the United States would, for one year, put into Laos "crash teams" for special training jobs but the French would continue to have overall control of train the Laotian forces, the presence of the United States "crash teams" would be suitably cancelled.
