Summary / Abstract :

Following is repetition of memorandum No. 500 dated 30 May, 1959, from Saigon. "Laos integration of Pathet-Lao units since may cable 105 of 25 May, 1959 the situation in Laos deems to have deteriorated. There is a great deal of confusion in reports coming from Vientiane due apparently to the fact that Laotians do not wish impression to get abroad that the situation is critical, as this might possibly aggravate any reactions caused by the already loud complains of the North Vietnamese and Communist Chinese for the reconvening of the I.C.C.
