Summary / Abstract :

Following from the State Department (corcoran) on 04 June.
1. As of 31 May, the entire P.L. battalion was reported to be in vicinity of Muong Ngame. The Laos Army was supposed to be further to the East and in a position to prevent the Battalion from crossing the North Vietnamese frontier. The government was endeavoring to bring up additional troops, but was handicapped by bad weather which prevented air drops. |
