Following is text of statement prepared for State Department spokesman at today news conference begins: (A) It continues to be the policy of the US Government to respect the sovereignty of Cambodia and not to widens the war in Southeast Asia. (B) The question of Cambodia was considered by the UN Security Council in May 1964, on the initiative of the Cambodian Government itself.
