Chau Doc province July 29, 100 Khmers from KKK Battalion (Chau Doc Kampuchea Krom) defected GVN at Tri Ton WS 0153. Defectors included Chau Doc mutineer battalion commander and one platoon leader. Weapons also handed in. Chau Doc mutineer battalion has been operating in widespread mountain area with 512th local force.
