Deschamps may be aware that Senator Brooke (Republican of Massachusetts) had hoped to be able to include Cambodia in his current far eastern tour. Outcome should by now be clear, but brooke made no arrangements before he left US and (As Perry pointed out today) refusal of Cambodian consulate in Hong Kong to transmit to Phnom Penh Brooke's request for an airport visa was not exactly encouraging.
