In the course of the post week or ten days there have been signs of an increase in Viet Minh activity in Cambodia. A sous prefect was killed about 40 kms from Siem Reap and the town of Skoun, on the road between Phnom Penh and Kampong Thom was raided by a band of about 50 men both areas are normally regarded as being secure.
