Radio Phnom Penh on August 13, 1978 reported that since early June 1978, Vietnam has intensified has inter-territory and on August 11, 1978 Kampuchea shot down two Vietnamese Migs. Over Svay Reing Province. This Radio also claimed that on July 19 and 24, 1978 Kampuchea had shot down two Vietnamese Migs in the same province . This report by the Radio Phnom Penh was immediately taken up by Hsinhua News Agency.
