Summary / Abstract :
During the Khmer Rouge Period between April 1975 to January 1979, nearly a quarter of Cambodia's population died as a result of extrajudicial executions, starvation and disease. In addition, ten of thousands of people were cruelly abused, enslaved, systematically tortured and killed. In this dark time, there was a generation of professional tortures to date, not one of them has been brought to account for the suffering they caused.
