The confession of In An, soldier of Division 502, implicated Ret, cadre of Company, Division 502, betrayed the party through Phal's indoctrination. During the war, Phal ordered Ret to persuade soldiers to defect from their lines. After the liberation, Ret still did so. In 1976, Phal introduced Ret to prepare to participate in taking over from the revolution.
ចម្លើយរបស់ អ៊ិន អាន យុទ្ធជននៅកងពល ៥០២ ឆ្លើយពីឈ្មោះ រ៉េត កម្មាភិបាលអនុសេនាធំ កងពល ៥០២ ថាៈ រ៉េត ក្បត់បក្ស តាមការអប់រំពីឈ្មោះ ផល។ ក្នុងសង្គ្រាមផល បានចាត់តាំងរ៉េត ឱ្យដើរបំផុសយុទ្ធជនឱ្យរត់ចោលជួរ។ ក្រោយថ្ងៃរំដោះ ១៧ មេសា រ៉េតនៅតែដើរបំផុសយុទ្ធជនឱ្យរត់ចោលជួរដដែរ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ ផល ណែនាំរ៉េត ឱ្យត្រៀមខ្លួនដើម្បីចូលរួមដណ្ដើមរដ្ឋអំណាចពីបដិវត្ដវិញ។
