Sitrep as of July 05 at 18:00: The Embassy continued to receive fresh reports of partisan fighting at several locations in central Phnom Penh. Leading CPP defense officials used a press conference to provide a legal basis for their actions in stopping alleged FUNCINPEC in fractions of illegal troop movement regulations the Embassy is advising AMcits to stay at home and avoid travel until the situation calms.
