Koem Ngan married to Chhem Roeung in 1973. Her husband was killed in 1976. Ngan had 2 children in the Pol Pot regime. Her father called Pak Koem died in Lon Nol regime because of explosion. Her mother called Neang Phy died four years ago because of sickness. She has 7 siblings, but only three left still alive. In the Pol Pot regime, she was a farmer. She was saperated from her husband and her children.
កឹម ង៉ន រៀបការជាមួយ ឆែម រឿង នៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣។ ប្ដីរបស់គាត់ត្រូវបានសម្លាប់នៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦។ ង៉នមានកូនពីរនាក់នៅក្នុងសម័យប៉ុល ពត។ ឪពុករបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះ ប៉ាក កឹម ប៉ុនែ្ដស្លាប់នៅសម័យលុន ណុលដោយសារគ្រាប់ផេ្លាង។ ម្ដាយរបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះ នាង ភីស្លាប់បួនឆ្នាំមុនដោយសារតែជំងឺ។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៧នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដស្លាប់ច្រើននៅរស់តែបីនាក់ប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ នៅក្នុងសម័យប៉ុលពតគាត់គឺជាកសិករម្នាក់ ហើយត្រូវគេបំបែកអោយចេញពីគ្រួសារ។
