China and DRV have assured Prince Norodom Sihanouk , the from Cambodia chief of state who is in exile in Peking, that they would continue to aid Cambodian fighters if there were to be a separate cease-fire in Laos or south Vietnam . Chou En-Lai guaranteed that China would oppose an international conference such as the Geneva conference if Cambodia were not represented by Sihanouk.
