Summary / Abstract :

After an absence and nine months on leave in the United states, Mr Edwin Stations, who has been America Ambassador to Siam since July 1946, returned to his on 10th January 1952. Mr Stanton issued a statement to the press and radio which was unusually pointed for returning Ambassador. He used the occasion to indicate the dissatisfaction felt by the United states Government over the most recent coup d'état on 29th November 1951
