|
France will turn down a request from the Cambodian Government for arms to flight North Vietnamese and Vietcong forces, according to informed diplomatic sources. Though France has continued diplomatic relations with the new regime in Phnom Penh and is maintaining her military mission there, French officials continue to deplore the coup that deposed Prince Sihanouk and do not appear willing to become more involved than they have to with his successors.
