Un Say aka Sam, group chief of Kampong Som power plant, confessed that on April 17, 1976 Chhai, Kampong Som port worker, broke away from security office in Kampong Chhnang and came to work in Phnom Penh-Kampong Som land transport unit. In July 1976, Koeun indoctrinated Chhai to betray the revolution. Chhai assigned his network to tie steering wheel of a truck in order to cause it overturned and to put acid into truck's container.
ចម្លើយ អ៊ុន សាយ ហៅ សំ កម្មករម៉ាស៊ីនភ្លើងកំពង់សោម ប្រធានក្រុម ជាប់ពាក់ព័ន្ធនឹងឈ្មោះ ឆៃ យុទ្ធជនកម្មករកំពង់ផែថាៈ ១៧-៤-១៩៧៥ ឆៃ លួចរត់ចេញពីមន្ទីរសន្ដិសុខកំពង់ឆ្នាំង មកចូលអង្គភាពដឹកជញ្ជូនផ្លូវភ្នំពេញ-កំពង់សោម។ ខែ៧-១៩៧៦ គឿនអូសទាញឆៃឱយក្បត់បដិវត្ដន៍។ បានចាត់តាំងយុទ្ធជនដែលជា បក្សខ្លួនយកលួសចងដៃចង្កូតឡានធ្វើឱយក្រឡាប់អស់មួយ។ យកអាស៊ីតទៅចាក់ក្នុងធុងទឹកឡាន។
