Although vigorous efforts have been made by Thais Foreign Minister Thanad to take the heat out of the Khao Phra Vihara, dispute, press reports suggest that a period of crisis is again building up. Government spokesmen have avoided comment but feeling in Thailand is strong and Thanad's authority from a fresh wave of public statement.
