Summary / Abstract :

When the Pol Pot regime come to power in 1975 They sought to implement a socialist revolution that alter the course of Cambodian economy and history. Their aim was to establish state power in the hands of worker- peasants to increase agricultural production and to use this as the means for the development and industrialization of Cambodia.
