Summary / Abstract :

From November 15 to 17,2007 ICIJ carried out a pilot survey of visitors at Choeung EK, one of Cambodia's notorious "killing fields". Between 1975 and the Khmer Rouge government killed some 20.000 people here the majority of whom first had passed through the notorious Tuol Sleng prison and detention center.
