In mid-1977, with no explanation, my husband and eighty other people were transferred to a new workplace by a militiaman named Khon. My husband came to say goodbye to me before he left. Since then I have never heard from him. I don’t know whether he was sent to Sang Prison or not. Besides my husband, I had five siblings who disappeared without explanation during the Khmer Rouge regime.
I don’t think my husband survived the regime. He was taken away while he was plowing at Thmei Village, Thmei Commune, Kandal Stung District, Kandal Province. |
