This film examines the work of two American photographers who came across negatives stored in a cabinet in Tuol Sleng of prisoners of S-21 and took it upon themselves to clean these negatives and print out the photographs. Out of the approximately 14,200 prisoners who perished in Tuol Sleng, negatives for only 6500 of them have been recovered. The film captures the power of images, and how they sometimes capture emotion in a way that text cannot do.
