This film examines the ideology of the Angkar, the beliefs of the Khmer Rouge and their aims and objectives for Cambodia society. The film is centered around Toul Sleng, and looks at the torture carried out against the prisoners and the treatment meted out to them. Photographs of the victims are shown, and the film also examines the records that were kept by the Khmer Rouge regarding each prisoner. The beds to which they were chained, the methods of torture used by the Khmer Rouge are examined.
