Summary
|
Dy Sry, alias Rorn, male, was born in 1953 and died in "K5" regime. Interviewed with his 73-year-old mother It Nen; Sry៌s father was Sokh Dy, and he has 4 siblings. Sry was born in Kang Ta Ning 3 village, Kang Ta Ning sub-dsitrict, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Sry studied until grade 10 [in the old system] in Rorka-A primary school. When there were a demonstration and a coup to depose Samdach Sihanouk, Sry dropped out of school. After leaving school, Sry helped his parents in rice field, but he didn៌t farm so often because he was busy at escaping from a war and bombardments. It was in 1973 that Sry volunteered to join the revolution as a KR soldier through Sat. Even we didn៌t want to or not, we had to join the revolution because we were living in the liberated zone. When first joining the revolution, Sry was in Sre 100 near Kampong Thom province in order to fight with Lon Nol soldiers. After that, Sry ran back to his home because he was afraid of death that soldiers died every day; thus, he didn៌t want to go back. Sry had to return even he didn៌t want. It was in 1975 that It Nen learned that her son [Sry] was living as a soldier in Phnom Penh. In 1979, Sry returned to his home village, and he then got married and had children; however, there was a mobilization "K 5" that a person who was 30 to 40 years old had to have an obligation to cut down the forest along Khmer-Thai border. It was at that time that many people died because of mines and malarias. After performing his obligation in "K 5", Sry returned to his home village; unfortunately, he died from malaria.

ឌី ស្រ៉ី ហៅ រ៉ន ភេទប្រុស កើតឆ្នាំ១៩៥៣ ស្លាប់ជំនាន់ឪក៥ឱ។ ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ អ៊ិត ណេន អាយុ៧៣ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជាម្ដាយ។ ស្រ៉ី មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ សុខ ឌី មានបងប្អូន៤នាក់ មានស្រុកកំណើត នៅភូមិកងតាណឹងទី៣ ឃុំកងតាណឹង ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ស្រ៉ី កាលពីតូចរៀននៅសាលា បឋមសិក្សា រកាអារត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី១០ឪចាស់ឱ។ ឈប់រៀននៅពេលមានបាតុកម្មមានរដ្ឋប្រហាទម្លាក់ សមេ្ដចសីហនុ។ ពេលឈប់រៀន មកជួយធ្វើស្រែចម្ការឪពុកម្ដាយ តែមិនបានសូវ ធ្វើស្រែចម្ការទេ ព្រោះរវល់តែរត់លូតលូនដោយសារមានសង្គ្រាមផងនិងមានយន្ដហោះទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកផង។ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៣ បានស្ម័គ្រ ចិត្ដចូលធ្វើជាយោធាខែ្មរក្រហមតាមរយៈឈ្មោះ សត្វ ទោះ បីយើងមិនចង់ចូលក៏ ត្រូវតែចូលដែរ ព្រោះយើងរស់នៅ តំបន់រំដោះ។ ចូលដំបូងទៅម្ដុំវាលស្រែ១០០ថានៅជិតខាងខេត្ដ កំពង់ធំវាយជាមួយទាហាន លន់ នល់ ហើយបានរត់មកផ្ទះ វិញម្ដងថា ខ្លាចណាស់បាញ់គ្នាស្លាប់ឃើញ ស្លាប់រាល់ថៃ្ងមិន ចង់ទៅវិញទេ តែនៅមិនបានក៏ត្រឡប់ទៅវិញ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ដឹងថា កូនរស់នៅ ធ្វើជាយោធានៅភ្នំពេញ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ឃើញត្រឡប់មកស្រុកកំណើតវិញបានរៀបចំគ្រួសារឱ្យ មានប្រពន្ធមានកូន តែក្រោយមកនៅក្នុងសម័យរដ្ឋកម្ពុជាមាន កំណែនឪក៥ឱអ្នកដែលមានវ័យ៣០ទៅ ៤០ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវមានភារៈ កិច្ចទៅកាប់ពៃ្រតាមជាយដែនខែ្មរថៃ កាលនោះមានប្រជាជនជា ច្រើនបាន ស្លាប់ដោយសារជាន់ម៉ីន ដោយសារកើតជំងឺគ្រុន ចាញ់។ ស្រ៉ី ក្រោយពីមកកាប់ពៃ្រឪក៥ឱវិញស្រាប់ តែកើតជំងឺគ្រុនចាញ់ស្លាប់តែម្ដង។
