Summary: Ung Neak first joined the Khmer Rouge in 1970. During 1973-1974 he worked as a chief of subdistrict military in Trapeang Raing Subdistrict, Chum Kiri District, Kampot Province. In 1977, Ung Neak was withdrawn from his position and placed to work in Dek Kong plantation area. It should be noted that, he did not have enough food when he was in the military team. However, it was better when he placed to work in the plantation.
